It’s my favourite time of the month. My GlossyBox has arrived! I always get so excited to see this when I get home, its a nice little gift every month to treat myself with :). Here’s what I got in my March- The empowerment edition box.
Bellapierre: kiss proof lip creme-
I love a lip product to either match my outfit or add a pop of colour. I hadn’t heard of this brand before but as soon as I received this lip creme I tried it out. When they say kiss proof it REALLY is. This lip creme did not move or smudge or wear off all day. It is drying, however it doesn’t have that tacky feeling some liquid lips can give. The colour was lovely and complimented my skin tone very well. There were a total of 4 shades that could have been received; Antique pink ( the one I received), brick red, hot head and incognito. Size- 3.6ml Price- £20.00 https://www.bellapierre.com/uk/?___store=en_gb
Bybi: plumper lip balm-
Iv’e never used a lip plumper before so I was intrigued when I saw this. I don’t have the smallest of lips but my bottom lip is bigger than my top. Hopefully this will even out my lips and give me a fuller look. It is also moisturising which is always handy. Size- 10ml Price- £9.00 https://bybi.com/
Laritzy: dew pot-
Quite a few liquid/putty highlighters have made their way into my make-up collection yet I always tend to drift for my powder highlighters. I find liquid highlighters harder to use and I feel as though I don’t have as much control. I will definitely give this a try and see if I can make it work! It is quite a pinky toned highlighter, which again I wouldn’t normally use unless going for a dramatic make-up look. I may pair this with another highlighter that is cool toned to make it a bit warmer. Size- 3.5g Price-£15.30 https://www.laritzy.com/
The body shop: shea body butter-
You can never go wrong with a good setting spray especially if its affordable and does what it says on the bottle. I have already tried this setting spray prior the GlossyBox and love it! It is one of my must haves in my make-up collection. My face can get very oily throughout the day which can leave my foundation patchy. This spray fixes these problems and leaves my face feeling matte and in place all day. I HIGHLY recommend this to people who struggle with oily skin. Size- 50ml Price-£3.00 (bargain) https://essencemakeup.com/
Essence: instant matte make-up setting spray-
I have used this setting spray before and I LOVE it! It is a staple in my make up collection. It’s so affordable and does exactly what it says on the bottle. I tend to get quite oily skin during the day which causes my make up to move and smudge. However with this little bottle of magic, I just spray once iv’e finished my make up and my make up stays in place all day and leaves me looking matte. I just spray once iv’e finished my make up. Highly recommend! Size- 50ml Prize- £3.00
This was a nice added bonus with this months box! I also love that GlossyBox was supporting women on international women’s day as well as celebrating woman’s success. There was also a £40 off voucher for Hello Fresh, which is definitely worth the look!
