Golden smokey eye

I’ve been away for a couple of weeks on holiday but I’m back with this stunning eye look!

I love how natural this look is however, if wanted to it could be darkened to make it stand out.

The pop of gold brings this eye look together as well as being really easy to achieve.

I simply took a warm brown tone and applied that to my crease taking it higher towards my brow bone. I then blended with a fluffy blending brush.

I then darkened the crease slightly with a darker yet still warm brown to add some depth. I choose warm browns as they aren’t as harsh against my eye colour.

I then added that same darker brown and applied that to my outer corner and bringing it in slightly onto my lids using a small stiff fluffy brush. I also ran this along my bottom lash line, also adding the lighter brown shade on top. Then blending with the same fluffy brush.

I personally don’t bring the darker shade to far on my lid as I find it makes my eyes look a lot smaller.

I then applied a darker golden shimmer across my lid using my finger ( works better than a brush!)

On top of that gold shadow I went over it with my highlighter to add more of a pop! I also added that to my inner corner.

I added a thin line of black liner on my top lash line. I also added black eye liner on my lower water line.

A few coats of black mascara on my top and bottom lashes and finished! This look is incredibly easy and I only used 3 eyeshadows (4 if you include the highlighter).

I paired this eye look with a gorgeous red lip stick. I recommend using the e.l.f lipstick in ruby red.

I hope you enjoyed this look! For a more detailed explanation check out my other eye shadow posts.

I also have some new exciting products to share with you from different companies that I know you will all love!
